Synopsis

16-year-old George has a unique passion for nature. Introverted, shy and visually impaired, his passion for insects has become a gateway to essential life lessons about trust and friendship. But at the threshold of adulthood, he faces serious social challenges. Will a difficult eye-operation help him become confident enough to attempt connecting with children of his age? Will he find the courage to confront his parents about what makes him unhappy? Can a bug help him to change his life?

BUGBOY delves into George’s voyage of self- discovery as he embraces his authentic self and realizes that he need not be alone any longer.
